I quite like the characters. they are cute, especially the eyes. 

Setting

I think it's somewhere on the coast of Europe, maybe Italy. the surroundings look almost the same as today

Conflict

The first conflict would be within the Orange. whether the Orange will go rescue the Pink or not. it's a risk.

another conflict is between the guy and the octopuses, the most attractive part of the film. they were fighting just like humans, I remembered that octopuses are really smart but those in the film were too smart.

Climax

they finally escaped from the evil(?) guy, but the Orange was kidnapped by the bird.

Symbol

the tank symbolizes that there is always still unknown world outside, and it is way more bigger than you expect.

 I think the guy is depicted as a threat of smashing our everyday lives. it sometimes appears suddenly. the bird at last is also portrayed as unexpected thing.

Irony

the octopuses were out of the tank because of the guy but it could be a discovery, which was good for them as another world.

Theme

the message would be like: you shouldn't forget what you were originally going to do.

at first, the guy was transporting the octopus somewhere, but at last he was upset, just trying to kill them.
