Bye Bye to IE III blog

 I recently found a cool k-pop song. The song is "Killin' It" by P1Harmony. I found it on the list of songs which we're going to cover the dance at the school festival. 

CHAOTIC WEEK

 This week I have 2 presentations, 2 final exams and 4 reports to write. And also my mom is visiting my house today which means I need to clean my room. What a chaotic week. I guess I need to buy more Monster Energy……..

Fue Ramune

It’s a traditional Japanese Soda candy you can find in most old candy shops in Japan.

Recently, the 711 at school had some in stock and I bought some.

Let’s just say the flavor was nostalgic but was sweeter than I remember 

It left a very sickening sweet aftertaste

It still tasted good so I’m not complaining

The one thing  I hate about blogger is probably preview mode.

Why of all things should this feature even exist.

I mean for saving your work, its very beneficial and convenient but sometimes when you press submit, your posts don’t get submitted and remain previewed 

You have to theN manually submit by editing from the main page not the edit page.

Procrastination

 How many of you guys tend to procrastinate before a test?

Well I tend to do it all the time. In fact, I had a presentation yesterday and I did not sleep one bit and I was very exhausted and feel like I’m going to pass out.

I hate Preview mode

 The Blogs which I posted last week and two weeks ago was on preview mode. So I had to post everything again. So sad. 

Syuuden

 Yesterday I accidentally fall asleep in the train and missed the last train. So I had to walk for almost 2 hours:(

New hair color

 I just dyed my hair by myself today. It is not as good as doing it in hair salon but at least it did not cost that much. 

Mazesoba

I just found my new favorite restaurant „Mazesoba Shichi“ I did not have to pay extra money for 特盛 and that what I really liked.  

Part time job

 I just started working at a restaurant last Tuesday. 

I’m not broke anymore yeah. 

Busy

 I have a lot of tests and reports to work on so I am very busy this week. I hope everything goes well. 

Chili Peppers

I played Red Hot Chili Peppers on Sunday and it went pretty well. I had a fun time and I want to play other Chili peppers songs on the guitar.

summer festival

 I went to a summer festival in Koshigaya on Sunday. I ate okonomiyaki

and french fries. I want to go to fireworks festival, too!

Driving school pt.3

 I went to driving school on Saturday. I took an "what to do in case of an emergency" type class which lasted 3 hours.

We basically learn about how to do CPR, how to use an AED and how to help a choking person. We watch a tutorial(?) and then actually do it on a mannequin. It was lowkey awkward but I am glad it is out of the way.

My goal is get my license by the end of July, so wish me luck 

Last day of club this term

On Saturday, I had a last day of ballroom dance this term. Alumnus visited us, and we performed our dance in front of them. I got little nervous about them, but it was a good opportunity to practice performing my dance. Older alumnus are in 30s, and I’m glad I could talk to them since there is no such chance to interact with this different age. 

This week

 I have presentation almost every day this week. Although many of them are not difficult or nerve wracking, I am DREADING the one for speech communication. 

I am also probably going to fail Spanish as well. 

So yeah. Life is great. 

English central

Provisional license

Yesterday, I passed the paper test of driving school and got a provisional license! I’m driving the real road for the first time next week. It’s been a while since I drove a car last time, but I hope I can do it okay. 

Audition2

 The result of the vocalist audition I took recently have come out. I passed the first round, and the second round will be held next week. I was able to pass with the male vocal song, so I'm going to do the same next time. I'm pretty busy with exams at university, so I don't think I'll be able to practice much, but I'll do my best!

Im struggling to remember the accent point and the spelling. It's too hard for foreigners!

Fireworks

 Today I went to visit a friend in Gunma Prefecture and watched the famous fireworks. It's rare to be able to see fireworks so close, so I was really moved. There were a lot of kids there, and they were really excited. I'd like to go again next year.

Next week

The summer vacation getting closer！！！ Before that, we have some examinations to do. Luckily, I only have 2 Spanish exams, although I might fail to get credit. Everyone wishes me luck in getting a high score in Spanish:)

Vegan cup noodle

 I bought two boxes of vegan ramen. I think we should try to eat less animal based foods. To grow live stocks, we need enormous amount of water and vast land. Also it emits greenhouse gases. On the other hand, plant based foods have lesss impact on the environment. Eat vegan ramen and fuck animal based foods.

Hell library

I had 1st period.  I had 5th period. I’m exhausted. I’m almost crazy and dead. I have 6th period. I have 7th too. No teacher or no other student. I study alone in the library till it closes. I’m always dying on 5th floor it the library. I study phonetics. I read about pragmatic. I deeply think about semantics. English literature always pisses me off. Kill them. Yes, I kill them. I need to kill them all to be a great linguist.

preparation

This week will be the week we will prepare for our presentation. We would like to do our interview and collect deta for this week

Audition

 Recently, as I sing in club activities, I've started to want to pursue singing more. So I applied for a vocalist audition at an agency. The audition is this Thursday, so I'll practice hard until then and do my best to get a good result.

RHCP

 I had band practice today and it went pretty well. We'll be playing Can't Stop, Around The World, Californication and Stone Cold Bush. Those are difficult songs but I'll practice as much I can.

Poetry

Today I had a class of making poem.

We are required to complete a book of 10 poems eventually.

We also have to decide the book design and the details.

At first it looked troublesome but it turned a little fun. 

Vote

Yesterday I went to vote as a citizen of Tokyo. I happened to visit the elementary school I used to attend. I didn't realize it was the place prepared for the people in that region until I arrived.

I didn't have good memories in primary school, so I was unpleasant. 

Palan Show

 On Sunday I performed my dance at a live venue in Shinjuku. There were a about 200 audiences and I was very nervous but once I got on the stage it was very fun. My next stage is at the Sagamihara festival. I hope I can perform even better.

CL

 Last Saturday, we had a club meeting. It was an information session for our biggest event, the circle live, which will be held in March. All the members of the club are planning to sing three songs, but I don't know any of them, so I'm looking forward to practicing them.

Spanish

 My Spanish test is coming up so I've been studying as much as I can. I think I'll need to bring up the pace to memorize everything I need. 

Guitar loan and heat

 Last post, I talked about how I started my first part time job, and because of that, I can finally start to work to finish my loan on my new guitar. Up until now, I was using my money in my bank account and was constantly seeing less and less money in it. But now I can directly deposit my money back and can stop worrying about losing all my money to my guitar loan. 

Also, recently the temperature has been rising drastically. I’m very worried that I might faint due to how scorching hot the sun is atm. I want to make sure I take in plenty of water!

Part time job

 This week or last week (depending on how you see Sundays as the start or end of the week) I started my first ever part time job. I won’t be telling you all where I work but all I can say is that I’m currently having the best time of my life. I really enjoy the work there, and my coworkers are very friendly. Not to mention the customers are very kind hearted and fun.

Guilt-free Sweets

I went to a cafe called Beyond Sweets in Omotesando.
They sells healthy sweets that doesn’t include flour and white sugar, and some are even low sugar or allergy free.  
I ordered Mandarin orange parfait. The cream had coconut scent which I love. I also had latte with dates syrup.
Both tasted really good and it was great that I could eat it without feeling guilty:)

Toughest workout

Lately, I’ve been doing workouts for the training days of the ballroom dance club, coming up in the beginning of August. 
There will be several tough workout menus that we must prepare for. What I most struggling is lateral muscle training. We have to be able be in posture of putting one side of arms on the floor and keep your body sided and up for about 15 min in total without dropping your body. I still can’t do it for that long, so I have to train as much as I can this month. I hope I will be able to do it by the training day…

Lots of assignments

 I have a lot of assignments to work on, so recently I have less time to see my friends. I want summer vacation to come quick!

On Tuesday I had a dance practice until 8 pm and when I left the building I saw a cat sitting on a bench. This can is Asshii and he is living in AGU. Recently he doesn't run away even if I get close to him. I hope it's because he remembers who I am!

My goalball tournament is coming up soon therefor I spend the weekend practicing and eating a lot of food.

Passed the first driving test

Last week, I had a driving test of the first stage. I was nervous if I can do every missions right, but I'm happy that I could pass it without any big mistakes. Now I have to take the paper test about traffic signs and rules. They're kind of tricky so I have to study for it. If I could pass it, I can get provisional license and I'll be able to drive the real road!

My Cats

I will introduce my cats today:)
I have 2 cats of boy and girl twins. The boy’s name is Tora, and the girl’s name is Mike. Tora likes to eat and sleep, and Mike likes to play. They’re 10 years old. 

School Drama

 Recently, I've become addicted to watching Japanese school dramas from the Heisei era. They're very exciting and have a lot of romantic elements that make your heart flutter, so they're really interesting. I'll try to be careful not to stay up late watching too many dramas!

Guitar

I've been thinking about getting a new guitar but its hard to choose from the big selection online. I'll think more about it before I buy one. 

Nothing much

I stayed home this weekend and worked on some of my reports.  I also practiced guitar because I will be playing Red Hot Chili Peppers in a band. I don't have much time so I'l practice as much as I can in my free time. 

Poems

 I'm taking this class on Mondays called introduction to english education. In this class, as a final project, we have to write 10 poems about the most important moments in our lives, with a description of each one. 

I just found out that the professor is grading each poem based on how well it is written and of its contents. I have no idea if any of my poems are good enough and I am starting to get worried... 

I regret taking this class every week...

driving school pt.2

 I've been going to driving school weekly nowadays.

I take two to three classes a day and I think its going pretty well. I thought I was falling behind but one of the instructors told me that I was actually on track. So that made me feel better.

SJS reunion

 Last weekend, I participated in a small reunion party and met my secondary school classmates after about roughly 5 years.  I was surprised to recognize everyone as they all had the same looks just that their heights had grown. I had so much fun laughing and chatting with friends, recalling the good memories we had in Singapore. What I thought was very special was we all sang "地球星歌~笑顔のために~" which we chose and won at the chorus festival back in the day. Singing with the original members was a very memorable moment and made me feel the unity once more. Some people couldn't attend due to schedules or where they live, but I  really look forward to meeting up all together soon.
